Just read the article, muy excellente. And yeah, it would be great to see George Clooney in the title role, but I can bet you dollars to donuts, in the end, he'd be on his feed, miraculously cured, and doing the two-step with the celebrity girl of the moment.
I've known people who've had a disability for five years or all their lives who stay away from other people with disabilities. "It creeps me out, man," I heard one guy say. "Like bus from the group home is here."
Becs, thanks for reading. Feeling at ease around others with disabilities was a turning point for me, and probably the whole damn culture. AR
